Remy came to see me for his Newborn Shoot last week and we had a really lovely session. We had a lovely mixture of sleepy and awake time and then right at the end of the shoot, he pee'd on me 😂! Thank you Gorgeous Boy!

It's been all boys in the studio this week 💙! Coben came for his Little Sitter session and just look at this beautiful boy! Every baby has a sweet spot when it comes to their session. Some love sitting on my big chair, some love the tummy time, some even love lying on their back and looking up at the camera! We weren't really sure of Coben's sweet spot until we tried him in the heart crib (AKA Baby Jail 😅)!! And he absolutely loved it! Coben's Mummy has a stunning gallery of images coming her way, I mean, just look at that cheeky little face!

Did you know that the Newborn photography business is an unregulated industry? Which means that anybody can pick up a camera and begin taking photos of babies with absolutely no training whatsoever. And that doesn't mean untrained in using a camera. It means untrained in the safety and handling of babies. You could be handing your baby over to somebody who's never even held a baby before let alone knows how to pose a baby safely and to read their cues. When you're looking for a newborn photographer, don't just look at their portfolio and package prices. Ask how long they have been doing the job, what newborn training they have had and when they last refreshed their training.

I mean, you wouldn't hand your baby over to just anybody would you?

Sometimes life moves you away from places and situations you never imagined yourself leaving. It might not make sense at the time, but trust the process. Maybe you’re being pushed out of your comfort zone for a reason. Keep going, keep growing, and trust that everything will work out the way it’s meant to. ♥️

Little reminder if you’re expecting 🩵🩷...

Newborn sessions usually happen when baby is around 5–15 days old, which means most parents book their space during pregnancy. Because I only book so many newborns a month and because the window for a newborn session is so short, you will only be guaranteed a session to take place in the first two weeks, if you've pre booked your session.

If you're due in 2026, message me to check availability, I'm taking bookings from October onwards.
