I am Natasha and I photograph with the intention of reaching out to everyone, telling stories that cannot always be told with words. The photographs I make reflect life as I see it. I work within many different areas including documentary and landscapes, weddings and portraits. I am primarily based in Northamptonshi

We don’t do a lot of highly posed newborn photography at Welland Studios - the main reason being it can take a loooong time (we managed just two poses in 45 minutes) and we’re all about making our sessions relaxed, natural and all about connection.

When baby isn’t settling into a pose, parents get stressed especially when their heart was set on a particular image, baby senses the vibe and it can feel forced.

However, if your baby is particularly sleepy, we do now have a selection of super sweet posing baskets and a bed to use!

I shot a roll of film about 12-15 years ago and found it in a drawer. andy_eathorne_photo_film kindly developed it for me and I’ve been lucky to find these portraits from a military parade in Corby.

If you recognise any of these people and would like a proper copy of the image I’ll happily scan them and send them over! (These are just photos of the negatives I’ve taken on my camera so not great quality)
