I never thought my first ever celebrity shoot would feel this… relaxed.

No big ego. No awkward energy. Just great conversation, creative flow, and one of those days that reminds you why you picked up a camera in the first place.

This shoot was for a magazine called Solace Magazine, and from the moment I arrived it felt like stepping into a completely different world to my usual wedding season pace — in the best way possible. Different rhythm, different pressure, but the same focus on storytelling and connection.

First up, Nina Wadia. Genuinely one of the loveliest people I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Warm, present, and incredibly professional. We chatted between frames, shared stories, and the time honestly flew. Those are always the shoots that produce the best work — when it doesn’t feel forced and everyone’s just there.

Secondly, the professionalism was next level. Calm, organised, and creative without chaos. Everyone knew their role, trusted each other, and it made my job so much easier. When that happens, you can really push creatively and enjoy the process rather than just ticking boxes.

And finally, the team behind the scenes. From make up to wardrobe every single person brought good energy. No stress, no drama — just people who clearly love what they do. That kind of environment makes a massive difference, and it shows in the final images.

This shoot was a reminder that there’s a whole creative world outside of wedding season — and I love sharing that side of my journey too.

If you enjoy seeing what I get up to beyond weddings, portraits, and real moments with real people, hit follow and come along for the ride. There’s a lot more to come.

This is the moment everything slows down… and it deserves to be treated that way.

What you’re seeing here is behind the scenes of how I photograph weddings during the Lavaan at an Anand Karaj — a moment many would say is the heart of the entire Anand Karaj- Sikh wedding ceremony.

This clip was filmed at Havelock Road Gurdwara, during a time when the focus should never be on the cameras, the crew, or the guests — but purely on the couple, the prayers, and the meaning behind every step taken together.

When I shoot the Lavaan, my approach is always the same.
First, I work unobtrusively. No circling the couple. No distracting movements. No breaking the flow of the ceremony. My job is to blend in so seamlessly that you forget I’m even there.

Second, I have deep respect for the ceremony itself. This isn’t just another part of the day to “capture content” — it’s sacred. Every frame I take is intentional, calm, and considered, because moments like these deserve dignity, not disruption.

And finally, something that often gets overlooked — working closely with the video team. A great wedding experience isn’t about fighting for angles. It’s about collaboration. Making sure neither of us are in each other’s shots, so the couple gets clean, beautiful imagery from both photo and film without compromise. It’s always a pleasure working with

If you’re newly engaged and researching wedding photography, this is the kind of detail that really matters — not just what your photos look like, but how they’re created and the respect shown on your wedding day.

If this resonates with you, hit follow. I share real weddings, real moments, and real insight into what thoughtful wedding photography actually looks like!

Ever wondered what your photographer is really doing during your ceremony? 👀

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how I quietly documented some of the most meaningful parts of a Hindu ceremony.

Shot at the iconic Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, this was such a beautiful celebration filled with emotion, tradition and so many genuine moments. When it comes to ceremonies, my approach is always the same — stay non-intrusive, respectful of the rituals, and fully focused on capturing the story as it naturally unfolds. No interruptions, no forced moments… just honest memories that reflect exactly how it felt to be there.

The ceremony itself was conducted so beautifully by the pundit, creating such a calm and meaningful atmosphere for everyone present. These are the moments where subtle storytelling really matters — the quiet exchanges between family, the smiles, the blessings, and all the little details that make each ceremony unique.

And honestly, working with such a warm and welcoming family made the entire experience even more special. When couples and families feel relaxed and comfortable, it allows me to capture those real, heartfelt moments that you’ll look back on for years to come.

If you’re newly engaged and starting to think about your wedding photography, I hope this gives you a little insight into how I work behind the scenes — calm, discreet and always focused on your story.

How long after the wedding shout we expect our photos?

What do you think id acceptable?

It’s one of the biggest questions couples should ask — and honestly, you should know the answer before you book your photographer. After your big day, some couples are super chilled… others can’t wait to relive every moment. Neither is right or wrong — but having a clear expectation and delivery timeline makes all the difference. Imagine waiting months (or even years!) simply because it was never discussed.

For me, fast and reliable delivery matters. Family is everything to me, and I’ve been through those seasons of nonstop editing, long wedding weekends, and balancing a day job on top — 16-hour days were normal but my family time was sacrificed. Going full-time allowed me to build solid systems so my couples receive their images in just days, not months. No backlog, no unnecessary delays — just a smooth experience from start to finish…which equals more free time for me to spend with my family!

I also believe your photos should arrive while the wedding buzz is still fresh. That excitement, those emotions, the memories you can’t stop talking about — that’s when your gallery should land in your inbox.

Clear communication, realistic timelines, and consistent delivery are a huge part of the service I provide.

If you’re newly engaged and researching photographers, make sure you ask about delivery times — it’s more important than you think. And if you want a photographer who keeps things natural, organised, and fast without compromising quality… hit follow and stick around for more real wedding advice and inspiration

Ever wondered what really happens behind the camera during a Sikh wedding ceremony?” 🎥✨
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how I approach one of the most meaningful parts of the day — the Anand Karaj.

Shot at the beautiful Smethwick Gurdwara (a place I’m always honoured to return to), this ceremony was full of calm, connection, and genuine emotion. When I’m shooting an Anand Karaj, my goal is simple — blend into the background and let the story unfold naturally. No interruptions, no forced moments… just honest storytelling.

At this point in the day, everything slows down in the most beautiful way. Families gather, emotions run deep, and the couple is fully present in the moment. I’m constantly watching for those quiet exchanges — a proud parent’s glance, a reassuring smile between the couple, or the small gestures that might otherwise go unnoticed. These are the memories that mean the most years later.

Having photographed many weddings at Smethwick Gurdwara, I know how to work respectfully within the space while still capturing every meaningful detail. It allows me to focus on documenting real moments as they happen — naturally, respectfully, and with intention.

If you’re newly engaged and planning your own wedding, I hope this gives you a little insight into how I work behind the scenes to capture your story as authentically as possible.

Stop scrolling for a second… because wedding inspiration is happening LIVE right now ✨

I’m currently at the Park Hall wedding showcase, soaking it all in, chatting weddings, and honestly… this is exactly why I love this industry.

First off, it’s so good to be surrounded by friends from the wedding world. These are people I’ve known and worked alongside for years, and seeing them all under one roof reminds me how talented this industry really is. From planners to stylists to décor teams, everyone here genuinely cares about giving couples an unreal wedding experience—and it shows.

Secondly, Park Hall… what a venue. I’ve photographed many weddings here over the years, and every single time I walk back in, I’m reminded why couples fall in love with it. The light, the spaces, the character—it works beautifully for photography, from relaxed morning prep right through to the party in the evening.

And right now? The place looks incredible. Every supplier has absolutely smashed it. The styling, the details, the atmosphere—it’s all coming together perfectly and giving couples a real sense of how their day could look and feel.

If you’re newly engaged and starting to think about your wedding photography, this is exactly the stage where asking questions and meeting the right people matters. Photography isn’t just about pretty photos—it’s about trust, experience, and someone who knows how to tell your story naturally.

If you’re here today, come and say hello. And if you’re not, hit follow to see more real weddings, real moments, and behind-the-scenes from days just like this 🤍

Ever wondered what happens when three photographers who’ve known each other for over a decade get in the same studio? Magic… and a lot of laughter.

Today, I had the chance to link up with two of my good photographer friends for a headshot shoot — and it honestly reminded me why I love this craft so much.

Friendship built on trust and experience
We’ve known each other for over ten years, and Rav in particular has been part of my team for over 15 years. That kind of history creates a level of creative trust you can’t fake — we understand each other’s style, standards, and work ethic without even needing to explain it.

Inspired by growth and excellence
Spending time in Rav’s studio was a real privilege. Seeing how far he’s taken his skills and business was genuinely inspiring. It’s a reminder that the best photographers never stop evolving — they keep learning, refining, and pushing their craft forward.

Creativity flows better when you collaborate
Beyond the shots themselves, it was just a fun, energising day — bouncing ideas off each other, experimenting with lighting, and challenging one another to think differently. That collaborative energy is exactly what I bring to every wedding: calm, creativity, and confidence under pressure.

For newly engaged couples, this is what matters — experience, consistency, teamwork, and a genuine passion for storytelling.

If you’re planning your wedding and want a photographer who values craft, connection, and creativity, hit follow and stay tuned — there’s so much more to come.

Ever wondered what happens when the best wedding suppliers in the region come together under one roof? Magic. Pure magic.

Being part of the Arena Launch was such a privilege — an exhibition dedicated to celebrating creativity, talent, and the incredible people who bring wedding days to life. Days like this remind me why I love this industry so much.

Here’s what made it special:

An unbelievable lineup of talented vendors
From entertainment and fashion to stylists and venue teams, the level of skill in that room was inspiring. If you’re planning your wedding, this is the kind of talent you want on your team.

The event looked absolutely stunning
Every corner felt thoughtfully designed — beautiful styling, elegant setups, and so many ideas couples can take inspiration from. It truly showed what’s possible when vision meets experience.

Such a great day with even better people
Beyond the displays, it was just lovely to catch up with fellow suppliers, share stories, laugh, and reconnect. The wedding community is full of passionate, supportive people — and that energy really showed.

For newly engaged couples, events like this are a perfect way to see what your wedding could look like — and to meet the creatives who will help bring it to life. As your photographer, my goal is always to capture not just how your day looks, but how it feels.

If you’re planning your wedding and want storytelling images that feel natural, emotional, and timeless — hit follow and let’s start imagining your big day together. 💍📸

Ever wondered what actually happens during your wedding portraits with me? 👀📸

Here’s a real behind-the-scenes look at how I shoot couple photos — no staged perfection, just calm, controlled chaos in the best way.

This clip was taken just before the entrance at the reception at The Belfry Hotel, and this is where experience really matters. The light was harsh, contrasty, and constantly changing. Not the dreamy golden glow everyone imagines — but that’s real weddings. Instead of fighting it, I worked with it. Finding pockets of shade, using angles, modifiers, and timing to turn difficult light into something strong and cinematic.

The biggest challenge? Time.
We had 10 minutes. That’s it. I never want couples to feel like they’re missing their own wedding day, so the goal is always quality over quantity. Knowing when to move quickly, when to pause, and when you’ve got the shot comes from shooting weddings week in, week out.

And honestly, the couple made it effortless. They trusted me, stayed relaxed, and just enjoyed being together. No awkward moments — just gentle direction and letting them be themselves. That’s when the best images happen.

If you’re newly engaged and looking for a photographer who can stay calm under pressure, work confidently in any light, and still give you space to enjoy your day — this is exactly how I work.

What really makes a photo unforgettable?

It’s not the pose. It’s not the dress. And it’s definitely not the backdrop. In my opinion…It’s the light — always the light.

One of the best parts of my job is getting to travel — and trust me, I love destination shoots. But I’ll be real with you: they’re also some of the hardest. The weather changes, the light shifts, the lack of sleep… and yet, that challenge is part of what drives me. This was my third time shooting in Venice, and I came in determined to create something totally different.

Yes, of course we did the iconic spots (how could we not?), but what I’m always chasing — more than the landmarks — are those little pockets of light. A narrow alleyway, the way the sun catches the edge of a stone wall, or how golden hour reflects off the canals just so. That’s the magic. That’s where I thrive.

Over the years, I’ve shot all over the world, and my favorite images — the ones I’m truly proud of — came from moments where I just knew how to use the light. Not fight it, not force it — but work with it.

This Venice shoot with an absolutely incredible couple was such a dream. We laughed, we walked (a lot), and we let the light lead the way. Every frame felt like a little piece of art, and I truly had a blast creating with them.

If you’re newly engaged and starting to look for your photographer — I’d love to connect. I’m all about real moments, thoughtful composition, and creating something that feels uniquely you. Let’s make something beautiful together. ✨

👉 Hit follow if you’re into storytelling through light, destination weddings, and honest photography that captures the feeling — not just the pose.

I didn’t plan on doing a family day out at a wedding venue… but this place completely surprised me.

After recently seeing one of the newest wedding venues in the Midlands, I realised they were hosting a Christmas event — and instead of just popping by on my own, I thought, why not bring the family and properly experience it together? Best decision I made that week.

First off, the variety here is unreal. As a photographer, I’m always looking at spaces through a creative lens, and this venue has so many different backdrops, rooms and little pockets that feel totally different from one another. You can genuinely imagine multiple types of events happening here, not just weddings. Every corner feels considered and full of character.

Secondly, my daughters absolutely loved it. That’s always the real test. From the moment we arrived, there was excitement, colour, and things that actually kept them engaged (not just standing around while the adults talk). Seeing them run around, laugh and get involved made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable for all of us.

And finally, it was incredibly interactive. This wasn’t a “walk around and leave” kind of event. There was energy, atmosphere, and a real effort to make families feel welcome and involved — which is exactly why these year-round events work so well.

If you’re a family looking for something different to do — or you love discovering unique venues and experiences — hit follow. I’m always sharing places, moments and stories worth your time.
