One day short of a Valentine, we repaired to Drapers again and had some fine people playing lovely music.

First up was Matt Cattell

Once again I took an uncomfortable number of photographs at the Open Mic at Drapers' Bar & Kitchen
First up were "Shanghai Hostage" (https://www.facebook.com/ShanghaiHostage), who include Beth Black and Sophie Hadlum, plus Richard Bear Brown and Ian Todd (and were very, very good)
Followed by Stephen Bennett - who gave us a virtuoso performance, as ever. Such a talented chap.
Third act was our Feature Artists, Carrick (https://www.facebook.com/carrickmusic/ ), comprising Caroline Dyson and Richard Howell
Next came Aphra Smith, about whom I know nothing, but she was really good - go check her out :-)
Following Aphra was Callum Lawes, who contributed a spirited and enjoyable set - would like to see more of this guy
Next up was Mia Drewniak who I have also encountered at The Tin Open Mic. Her original material is both quirky and thought provoking - catch her if you can
Our penultimate act was Natasha Mehra (plus guitarist, James Vickery); smashing voice and guitar playing
And, finally, our last act was Claire Kas, whose distinctive voice and performance topped off the evening in spectacular and enjoyable fashion. I don't know Claire on Facebook, so cannot link to her.
