As some of you may not know, my partner and I are expecting our baby girl very soon… so we took some time to capture this season properly.

There’s something incredibly powerful about maternity sessions, the strength, the softness, the quiet anticipation before everything changes forever.

The photographer behind Sam Ford Photography IOW, based on the beautiful Isle of Wight. At 26 years old, my journey into photography started at a young age, inspired by my dad, who was a photographer himself. Though he no longer practices, the passion he instilled in me continues to drive my work every day.

Photography is more than just a job to me, it’s my passion. Specialising in wedding photography 💍, I focus on capturing timeless moments that you’ll cherish forever. Whether you’re looking for a family portrait, a photoshoot with your pet 🐶, or an event to be documented, I’m here to bring your vision to life with care and attention to detail.

Our pets bring so much joy into our lives, and they deserve to be remembered just as beautifully as any other member of the family. As someone who absolutely adores animals, capturing their personalities, quirks and little moments is something I genuinely love doing.

My pet sessions are always relaxed, fun and completely led by your dog. We head outdoors, let them explore, play, sniff and just be themselves, and that’s when the magic happens. From big smiles and wagging tails to those softer, quieter moments, I make sure every gallery feels authentic, warm and full of heart.

If you’ve ever thought about getting professional photos of your dog, this is your sign. These moments go by far too quickly, and having something beautiful to look back on one day really does mean the world.

That’s a wrap! 🎉

My final wedding of 2025 could not have been more perfect! Megan & Keith’s beautiful day at Chalk Barn in Pewsey, Wiltshire 🤍 From the stunning countryside views to the golden hour light, everything about this wedding was pure magic.

I travelled up from the Isle of Wight for this one, and it was an amazing reminder that love stories have no borders. I’m always happy to travel to capture your story, wherever it takes me 🌍

This year has honestly been incredible. Ten weddings, ten unique stories, and so many moments that reminded me exactly why I love what I do. Every couple, every laugh, every tear, it’s been a total honour to capture it all.

📸 Bo & Dave at Parkhurst Forest 🐾

This morning I headed over to Parkhurst Forest to photograph these two handsome boys, Bo and Dave 🐶

Bo was full of energy, leaping over logs and running through the trees, while Dave, the older and wiser of the two, took things at a much more relaxed pace, happy to soak up the forest air and watch his younger brother show off.

The light filtering through the trees was perfect, and those autumn tones really brought the whole shoot together 🍂
