2. Being stuck inside 😔

Captured this skilled pilot after the first ascent from Les Houches to Aiguillette des Houches, a very humid and tough morning to reach that point at 2285m altitude!

Following this I pushed on to Le Brévent, where I called it for the day 🤣

Shout if you recognise yourself!

Evening all!
A post-edit shot of , captured late afternoon on 23rd July! I think it’s a cracking shot, not too much ice to see in the glacier, I wonder how it compares to winter!

Bonjour!
Apologies for the silence! I successfully managed to summit the Mont Buet (3100m) on Friday 26th, with Hugo - a friend I met on the way up.

It was the hardest climb I’ve ever done, with challenges I haven’t faced before - such as walking across snow covered slopes - with only my shoe spikes for safety!

The way back down, on the other side of the mountain, was a very dangerous path - with steep slate slopes, cables attached to the wall suspended over large drops, and extremely steep descent all the way down.

Climbing with the altitude, my pack, and heavy boots was a real push!

In total, it was 20.5k, circa 1900m ascent/descent, over 10 hours.
