Summer 2027 couples – you can now give Notice! 🖊️ 💍

Did you know that you can give your Notice of Marriage up to 12 months in advance of your big day, so if you’re saying “I do” in 2027, you can start thinking of giving Notice of Marriage now!

Remember that you give Notice in the District where you live, so you will need to contact your local register office to book an appointment.

If you live in Cheshire East and are getting married within the next 12 months, you can book your Notice of Marriage appointment through the link in our bio.

P.s. Please don’t worry if your local register office hasn’t opened its diary yet as availability can vary between different offices. The best thing to do is ask when their booking diary will open for your chosen date.

Some exciting news from Your Ceremony HQ! Our Registrars Andrew and Julie have been out and about renewing Marriage and Civil Partnership Approvals for lots of our lovely Cheshire East wedding venues!

First up, we have combermereabbeyweddings, where you can say “I do” in an impressive Edwardian Glasshouse in the beautiful grounds of a medieval estate.

Next we have thebridgecheshire in Prestbury, a historic Grade II listed restaurant sitting on the banks of the river Bolin.

thevicaragecheshire is a contemporarily restored hotel and restaurant on the outskirts of quaint Cheshire village of Holmes Chapel.

Finally, in the leafy village of Wilmslow, with views over the Cheshire countryside, you will find thecolonyhq – an ultra-modern wedding venue offering a unique and stylish backdrop for your wedding day.

Did you know that to legally tie the knot at a venue, the venue must be an Approved Premises?

In Cheshire East, once an approval is granted, it is valid for 3 years.

At your Notice appointment, a registrar may mention to you that your venue’s licence is due to expire. In most cases, this is absolutely nothing to worry about; The Your Ceremony Team will have been working with your venue to organise their renewal. However, it’s definitely worth having a chat with your venue to double-check!
