This beautiful couple came to me recently engaged with a vision!
I was here for it alllll!

Liv hoped for a whimsical romantic engagement shoot. Her vision included somewhere with a dreamy, what I pictured as a fairytale like backdrop.

Like most clients say to me,
‘We’ve never done anything like this before’,
Saying they may be awkward & not sure how they’ll be in front of the camera…..

BUT LOOK AT THEM !!

I reassured them not to worry, I only want them to be theirselves! And only that! What feels natural!
Let’s be playful & like I say for any shoot -
“Let’s go on an adventure together & just have fun”.

& what a magical engagement shoot it was. We had the most epic sunset & that spot particularly is insanely incredible. That single isolated tree at the top of the hill over looking the most epic views is just the cherry on top of the cake of this location.

I have never had a mama say to me
‘I really wish I didn’t have so many photos of my bump.’

But I have had mama’s say to me…
‘I wish I had more photos of my pregnancy!’

Pregnancy can be a challenging time for some & for others it can be natural & enjoyable.
We are all so different & we all have our own journeys.

Even if you don’t feel like yourself;
Find you’re having mixed emotions about the way you look when pregnant…
I can tell you as a mama of two, that one day,
one day there will be a day, when you’re sat with your little bigger one & they ask you,

‘Mummy can I see a photo of me in your tummy?’

No matter how you felt then, you will feel & they will feel so proud seeing where their journey began 🫶🏼

All those feelings you had before. Won’t matter. ✨

The times that can feel the hardest, the longest, are also the moments we miss, crave & long to hold on to.

Just as you find your feet & feel as though the dust settles, we have to adjust & learn these new nuances & ways, it changes as easily as the wind blows…

Their beginnings are so fleeting, as we encourage every new evolvement & burst with pride watching them grow, & simultaneously find we grieve the time that just ended as we didn’t get to say goodbye & hold on to it one last time.

It’s pure bliss, beautiful & bittersweet. 🏹
