SNEAK PEEK - MARTYN & KIRSTY ๐ฎ๐๐
This was my third wedding at Glenisle Hotel, Isle of Arran in as many years so it's become a venue I know well.
For Martyn and Kirsty's big day, I went over the day before, just to be on the safe side in case of ferry disruption, which gave me a chance to have a wander.
I always like to do a recce beforehand to find new spots for photo opportunities, so that every wedding gallery done at the same venue is always fresh and new and personal to the couple. ๐ท
I was there to capture photographs of the morning prep, then the beautiful ceremony, and then got everyone outside for some family photos out on the lawn across from The Glenisle with the Holy Loch behind them.
THEN some highland cows decided to join us! (They were invited.) And this was because, every time Martyn and Kirsty visit the island, they go to visit these highland cows at Maol Fold so it was only fitting that these furry friends were part of the big day. ๐คฉ
We got loads of photos with them and the guests got to play with the coos while I took Martyn and Kirsty away from some couple's photos. Because I'd done a bit of a scout the day before, I had some really cool new ideas for where I wanted to take them, one of which was a beautiful site in Lamlash which was full of wild garlic flowers at the time.
Then it was back to the venue for the evening meal and, after dinner, I took the couple another wander down to the pier at Lamlash for some more photos and then back for the first dance and evening entertainment.
It was a wonderful time and Martyn and Kirsty really made me feel part of their wedding day, making sure I was fed and looked after, which was so lovely and something I was very grateful for.
Huge congrats to the happy couple! โฅ๏ธ
