The following terms and conditions ‘The Photographer’ shall mean Lucy Rogers trading as LR Photography . ‘The Client/s’ shall be those persons defined as customers on receipts. These terms and conditions cannot be varied in any way by clients unless such conditions are expressly agreed by the photographer
Copyright - The copyright designs and patents acts assign the copyright o
f the images to the photographer. Display - The client hereby has the choice to allow the display of their product displayed for advertising to promote the photographers work, only will it be displayed if an agreement has been made in writing. Photographs taken during the course of the appointments will be at the discretion of the photographer although every effort will be made to comply with the customers requirements. Special requests are not binding instruction, although every effort will be made to comply with the customers wishes. C. Wedding bookings involving a church ceremony or certain venue, the photographers movements are sometimes restricted by the official charge. The area from which the photographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be the photographers choice and cannot accept responsibility for obstructed views. D. Due to variety of lighting conditions and limitations of digital sensors, some colours may alter throughout the shoots. E. Although products in use is checked regularly and reasonable steps are taken to ensure backup products are available, the photographer will not be responsible for photos with bad produced due to technical failure. Payments - A. A non - refundable booking fees are taken for each service, each deposit varies in prices, it will secure your booking, as well as full acceptance of terms and conditions as published on the page. The booking deposit will be deducted from the full service price on the day of the shoot when the final balance is required. Payment in full is always due on the day of the shoots. Additional services and goods must be paid for in full at the time of ordering. No photos will be released to the customer until the final balance is paid. Force Majeure - A. In the unlikely event of cancellation by the photographer or of total photographic failure, liability shall be limited to a full refund of any fees paid. The photographer will endeavour to put the clients in touch with another photographer in the event they are unable to fulfill the service. Digital Negative Files - All digital images are edited and put to a disc for the customer to do with as they wish, they are kept on system of the photographer for 2 whole months. If for any reason the customer loses the photos, they are not eligable for a refund unless the photographer has deleted the photos under the 2 months time slot. Personal Accident - If any accidents happen on the day of the shoot, photographer cannot be held liable unless it was direction of the photographer, if caused by own direction of movement its at their own risk. Cancellation Fees - A. If the photographer has to cancel at any point before the shoot takes place the customer will get a full refund of their deposit if wanted or allowed to rebook a new appointment. If the customer wishes to cancel through no legal/medical reason then the deposit will not be refunded but an option to rebook or cancel completely. Complaints - A. If the customer is not happy with the service provided on the day, you have 24 hours to inform me to claim a full refund and no photos. If you request a full refund after receiveing the photos due to not happy with the photos, you can only claim a refund after giving the photographer a chance to retify the work by giving you 2 options, otherwise no refunds. If I the photographer believe the work myself is not upto par then I will offer a half a refund of the service balance paid. Delivery - A. The photos can take upto 7 working days to be edited and completed and transferred to disc, which will also be sent via a format such as facebook messenger or whatsapp. The delivery of a disc if local may take upto 14 working days from the day of the shoot to arrive. If not local you have the option of having posted to you via recorded delivery, this will occur and extra charge, and you will receive full tracking as well, posting can take upto 7 working days to be posted. If you want to collect yourself, you can after the 7 working days to edit the photos. If the disc does not arrive via postal, the photographer cannot be held liable and the customer must contact The Royal Mail.
