🚶♂️🚶♀️ SAFE STEPS DARWEN IS NOW RECRUITING STREET PATROL VOLUNTEERS 🚶♀️🚶♂️
This is your opportunity to be part of something that could genuinely make a difference in our community.
Safe Steps Darwen has been created to help support vulnerable people on nights out, provide reassurance, offer practical assistance, and help ensure that everyone gets home safely.
We are now actively seeking volunteers who would like to join our street patrol teams on Friday and Saturday evenings.
You don’t need previous experience. You don’t need special qualifications. What matters most is that you care about people and want to help make Darwen a safer place.
All volunteers will receive training and ongoing support before taking part in patrols.
By giving just a few hours of your time, you could help someone who is lost, vulnerable, distressed, alone, or simply in need of a friendly face and a helping hand.
Communities are strongest when people stand together. Safe Steps Darwen is about local people helping local people.
