Morning details are definitely a hill that I’ll die on. I think it’s so important to capture a couple’s personal items, even if it’s something as simple as a pair of shoes, it says so much about them as people and the story of their relationship as a whole.

Every great story starts with the details. The quiet moments before the vows, the pieces chosen with care, and the little things that help tell a much bigger story. ✨

A day was certainly had at Clanard Court 🇮🇪

This was our first time going over to Ireland to shoot a wedding this year, and it certainly did not disappoint.

As an English wedding photographer you can definitely see a difference between how couples tie the knot over there, there’s much more focus on traditional practices that celebrate the physical bond of marriage and family, such as the lumping of different coloured sand into the jar (representing each generation of the family) and the lighting of the candles for each partner. It’s almost mystical to witness and even more of a pleasure to photograph.

Big thank you to Clanard Court Hotel and weddings_clanardcourt for putting everything together. We certainly hope to be back in beautiful Kildare soon!

Last weekend I met up with Sophie & Liam to talk about their amazing upcoming wedding at Leyland Golf Club.

This last weekend I met Courtney & Leon for the first time to discuss their engagement and upcoming wedding.

I always like to get my couples out and about even for a couple of hours before they tie the knot, mainly so they can get used to how I work, and I can get to know them a little better.

As soon as I told them “pretend I’m not here” I could tell they were lost in a world of their own, the only people who existed for that hour as we strolled through venture park, was the two of them.

I have no doubt their wedding is going to absolutely rocking!
