A reminder that you’re closer to your dreams than you think.

I used to walk into rooms thinking I was the youngest, the least experienced and the one with the most to prove.

But what I never stopped to realise was… I was already IN the room.

The same rooms I once dreamed of being in.

The same opportunities I used to imagine.

The same creative environments I always hoped to be part of.

A week ago, I had the privilege of working alongside an incredible group of talented individuals on a shoot that reminded me just how far this journey has come.

What was once just a vision is slowly becoming my reality.

Building AMW.Visuals has taught me that growth isn’t always about being the most experienced person in the room.

Sometimes, it’s about having the courage to show up, learn, create and believe that you belong there.

Don’t get so caught up in how far you have left to go that you forget how far you’ve already come.

This is only the beginning and I genuinely can’t wait for you all to see what we’ve been creating.

Your branding shouldn’t just sit in the background.

You’ve spent time choosing your colours, your logo, your packaging, your signage and all the little details that make your business recognisable.

They deserve to be part of your content too.

One of the things I love about Dough House Pizza is how many little brand moments there was, everywhere I looked there was some sort of branding.

And that’s something I’m always searching for when I’m creating content.

Not just “What can I photograph?”

But…

“What makes this business feel like THIS business?”

Because a good content bank shouldn’t look like it could belong to anybody.

It should feel unmistakably you.

Sometimes the photograph needs to show the whole story.

I LOVE a close up.

But when somebody has created something like this?

You need to step back too.

The scale.
The styling.
The colours.
The setting.

The way the flowers work with the room.

And even those gorgeous shadows created by the light.

This is why, when I’m creating content for a business, I’m constantly thinking about variety.

Because your audience needs the details...

but they also need the WOW.

And this was definitely one of those step back and take it all in moments 🤍

Your content shouldn’t just show people what you sell.

It should make them WANT it.

Especially when we’re talking about food 😂

The texture.
The presentation.
The icing.
The finishing touches.
The tiny details that make you think...

I need one of those.

When I’m creating content for a food business, that’s exactly what I’m looking for.

Not simply “here is the product.”

But...

“How can I photograph this in a way that makes somebody stop scrolling and take a closer look?”

Because your customers can’t taste your products through Instagram.

Your content has to do some of the work for you.

Good content should make you feel like you’re there.

When I’m creating content for a business, I’m not only looking for the perfectly posed shots.

I’m looking for the moments that actually show what you do.

The process.
The people.
The details.

The little moments happening naturally while you’re busy running your business.

Because you can tell people what you do all day long but showing them is so much more powerful.

And this is exactly the type of moment I love to capture.

Looking back at where I started and where I am now, I can honestly say that every late night, every setback, every lesson and every moment of doubt was worth it.

There was a time when I was just trying to figure it all out and now I’m building a business that allows me to work from anywhere, even from the gym floor between sessions if I have to! 😂💻

The journey hasn’t been perfect but that’s the beauty of it.

Progress isn’t about having everything figured out; it’s about showing up consistently, even when things feel uncertain.

As a 20 year old business owner, I’m proud of how far I’ve come but I’m even more excited about where I’m going.

A reminder this Friday: don’t underestimate how much your life can change when you stay committed to your goals.

The small steps you take today become the success stories you tell tomorrow.

Keep going.
Your future self will thank you 🤍

Days spent in the fresh air.
Muddy shoes.
Golden evenings.
A whole lot of wildlife.
And more animals than I can count.

Family.
Friends.
The people I love most.
The people who make the ordinary moments feel anything but ordinary.

This is what I’m working for.

A life that feels full.
A life that feels free.
A life built on my own terms.

Building my business.
Creating opportunities.
Backing myself.
And learning that I don’t have to wait for the “perfect” time to start creating the life I want.

To every young woman building something of her own.
Keep going.
Take the risk.
Bet on yourself.
Your dreams are worth the work.

And somehow… I’m turning 20 in FOUR DAYS. AHHHHHH. 🥂🤍

Here’s to the next chapter.
More memories.
More adventures.
More growth.
More courage.
And a whole lot more of the life I’m creating for myself.

A little admin day in my life 🤍✨

Lots of emails, to do lists and getting things ticked off the list… and then I forgot to film when I got home 😂 hahaha!
