Something a little different.
Yesterday I paid a visit with friends to the new Irish bar in Scunthorpe and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful place and a feel good atmosphere and very friendly helpful bar staff too. They have a games room and pool tables upstairs too along with a karaoke room too plus live singer's on weekends too. Good mix of music and even had a screen showing train departures at Scunthorpe Railway Station too. My only issue is no access for the disabled as the entrance is now on Oswald Road and it's steps up to the doors. 13/06/2026.

Saw a news story on Look North tonight about 3 high rise flats in West Hull being demolished after being abandoned for a few year's. A couple of years ago I was working over in that area of Hull and I took some random photo's of those high rise flats one morning. All photos taken on December 3rd 2024.

Imagine rolling up to the bus stop, tapping your Parkside coupon, and the driver looks at you like, "Sir, this is a double-decker, not a parkside chainsaw.

"Next week they’ll be stocking RyanAir flights next to the knock-off Nutella and inflatable hot tubs.

Stagecoach number 1 and 2 service's spotted outside Lidl on Queensway yesterday (06/06/2026). I've never seen two together at that bus stop before either.
