Simon Mackney ABIPP is an Associate member of the prestigious BIPP (British Institute of Professional Photographers) winning awards for his work in Commercial Photography. Having started training on film using the Nikon F4 in 1995, he graduated from Sandwell College in 1998, which was the first digital course of its time and went on to train under experienced industrial photographers at Lubrizol. Having found he had a gift for lighting heavy machinery – he decided to try his art on people and there he found his gift for capturing life and began to win awards for both his commercial and portraits work. Simon’s attention to detail, sharp imagery and unique style makes him stand out from among the crowd. With striking ideas and boundary pushing vision, he has clients from all over the UK who choose to be captured by him at the studio or on location.
