🎃🍂 AUTUMN MINI SESSIONS ARE COMING… 🍂🎃

As we say goodbye to summer, I’m already getting excited for my favourite autumn sessions! 🤎📸

This October, I’ll be offering two different ways to capture some beautiful autumn memories:

🎃 Pumpkin Mini Sessions — think pumpkins, autumn colours, cosy layers, little ones exploring and plenty of gorgeous moments to capture.

🍂 Autumn Walk Mini Sessions — a more relaxed, natural adventure amongst the beautiful autumn colours, perfect for families who love exploring, playing and simply enjoying time together.

I’m still putting the finishing touches to everything, so I’m not quite ready to release the full details or open bookings yet… BUT 👀

🤍 One year ago today, Sophie & Charlie said “I do”. 🤍

This beautiful micro wedding at Anstey Frith House, Glenfield Registry Office was such a lovely reminder that you don't need a full-day wedding to have a gallery filled with meaningful moments. ✨

With just 2 hours together, we captured everything from their arrivals and ceremony, to the confetti celebration, family and friends shots, and some beautiful time for the two of them afterwards.

The grounds at Anstey Frith House were a great setting. From the beautiful white pergola walkway, to the tall, old trees creating a little dappled woodland space, there were so many lovely opportunities for their couple photographs. 🌿🤍

One of my favourite things about shorter wedding packages is showing couples how much we can capture in a limited amount of time. Once we've got past any initial nerves, I can quickly get couples feeling comfortable in front of the camera, allowing me to capture a mixture of gently directed poses, natural candid moments and genuine emotion — without the photography ever feeling like a chore.

For Sophie & Charlie, that meant plenty of smiles, emotion, beautiful moments together and photographs that tell the story of their day.

💙 Two years ago, a sea of blue, a whole lot of love, and two people wrapped up in each other. 💙

This beautiful wedding at Branston Golf & Country Club was every bit as romantic as the couple themselves.

From the suits and dresses to the smallest accessories, blue was woven throughout the day, creating the most gorgeous colour palette. 💙✨

But what really stood out was the way these two looked at each other. So many quiet moments, heartfelt words, stolen glances and little touches that made their love so easy to capture.

They wanted their gallery to tell the whole story of their day — a mixture of natural documentary moments, group photographs with the people they love, and some fun, creative portraits too.

And I think that's one of my favourite things about wedding photography: your gallery doesn't have to fit into one style. It should feel like you.

Two years on, these photographs still make me smile. Happy 2nd anniversary to Jasmine and Jordan! 🥂💙

This young explorer had a great time hunting down all the characters on the Peter Rabbit trail and, of course, finding the tallest sunflower! 🌻

These sessions don't feel like a photo shoot — they're an adventure. A chance to explore, play and have fun, while I capture natural moments along the way 💛 And of course, a few special moments with Mum too!

Bring on October! 🤍🍂

I recently met up with Nicky and Ness for their engagement session at the lovely Markeaton Park, and what a gorgeous afternoon it was. It was the perfect setting to capture this exciting chapter before they say "I do."

Engagement sessions are about so much more than beautiful photos. They're a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera, get to know each other better, and enjoy some uninterrupted time together before the excitement of the wedding day. By the time October arrives at The River Mill, they'll already know exactly what to expect—which means even more relaxed, natural photos on the day.

I genuinely can't wait to photograph their wedding and capture the next part of their story. 💍✨
