We were sad to hear of the passing of Derry great Roy Arbuckle, so thought we would share this extract of him talking on film. Recorded in 2013, this is from one of the first documentaries we made that was just us exploring the things and ideas we were interested in. The documentary featured many interesting local figures discussing what 'memory' meant to them, at a time when the city seemed to be on the edge of a new and an old era. Here Roy is his typically laid back, but quietly sage self. We worked with Roy a number of times throughout the years on different things. Roy was a musician, songwriter, community worker and storyteller. He will be missed.
