Soft peaches, buttery yellows, pink peonies and pops of lilac. Every detail of Lisa and Kevin’s day at Castle Leslie tied back to the same pastel palette, and it was a joy to photograph.

The floral arch on the church door, the candelabra centrepieces in the marquee, that cake with its pink silk bow. The styling was flawless from start to finish.

Leoni & Gavin at The Red Door, Fahan.

Set on the banks of Lough Swilly, their day unfolded in soft summer light, with a calm and relaxed atmosphere that carried throughout the afternoon.

We stopped along the drive towards Binion Bay, where the tree-lined road provided a natural backdrop for some quiet portraits together.

These in-between moments are often my favourites, unhurried, understated and reflective of the pace of the day itself.
