Ormeau Park Pet Portrait Sessions - 8th & 9th August

It’s been a minute since we last photographed in Ormeau Park, but it’s one of our favourite spots in the City Of Belfast and if you’re from the city you’ll know how popular it is with dog owners.

We’ll be bringing our usual easy going, relaxed style of pet photography to Ormeau over 2 days, with a choice of evening and morning sessions to make the most of the best light available and suit a wider range of dog owners.

Owners and families are absolutely welcome to get involved, and we love doing family portraits with the whole family involved!

Charity Fundraiser Sessions
12th and 13th of June, Gransha Woods

To help raise urgent funds for we’re holding a weekend of pet portrait mini sessions in one of our favourite spots, Gransha Woods. This is where we held our first ever fundraising sessions and we’re excited to get back again.

As you may know FOR have scaled back for a little while to take stock of things and regroup to be able to come back stronger, but they still have veterinary bills mounting for animals they have in their care. Every little helps when it comes to fundraising and we’re trying to do our bit to help.

Sessions will be 15 minutes long, and will cost £20. Each session includes 4 hand edited high resolution digital images to download and keep, with the option of upgrading to the full gallery for an additional £20.

While each 15 minute session can facilitate up to 3 dogs, we do require a minimum of 2 handlers if more than 1 dog is in attendance.
For larger groupings of both people and dogs please book a double slot to make sure we have enough time to work through everyone and give you the service and attention to detail we pride ourselves on.

Take a quick look at what goes on behind the scenes on a pet portrait session…
This seems to be the new ‘thing’ on social media so we’re giving it a go to show you guys the makings of the images you see in your feed.
We shoot predominantly with dogs on a lead, and coach owners on how to position themselves, guide their dogs to their mark, and we try to keep everything very calm and relaxed because the less stress there is the better the photos will be and the more you’ll enjoy your session.
This was a short session for rescue dog ‘Fleur’ who is in need of surgery on her nose to help her breath, so we were capturing some photos of her to help with her appeal. She’s in the care of and I’m sure they’ll have all the information online in due course.

As a pet photographer I’ve been fortunate enough to meet some amazing dogs and families, but these were a special bunch…
The Duddy family have been friends of ours for years, and as is life unfortunately, we’ve been able to photograph their pack in a couple of it’s incarnations so to be asked to do it again means a lot to us.
It’s hard to argue against how striking they are with a beautiful Poodle, a handsome black Lab, and a fabulously charismatic Glen Of Imaal Terrier.
I can’t wait to share more photos of these guys with you all, and be sure to check our stories for some before and after edits of these photos. We photograph almost all dogs on a lead for your reassurance and their safety with it being removed at the editing stage to leave us with beautiful images with nothing distracting from them.
