I just wanted to share with you all, a 5* Google review left by a couple that I assisted following a Search and Rescue operation earlier this week to find Winnie the Whippet:
“We honestly cannot thank James enough for all of his help in finding Winnie, our missing whippet! He was kind, professional, and incredibly reassuring throughout the whole process. He stayed calm even when it felt impossible to be. James was even completely understanding and patient when we had a payment issue because of already nearly being scammed by fake drone companies. He didn't judge us at all and made us feel very safe the whole time.
Although the thermal drone didn't locate Winnie directly, it gave us a much better understanding of the land and where to focus our search (incredibly useful in our rural village!).
Winnie was eventually found in the next field over from where James had been looking - we genuinely think his help and guidance played a huge part in getting her home safely!! James came out late at night at very short notice and was even prepared to come back the next day because he was just as determined as we were to find her. It was clear that he genuinely cared and wasn't just there to do a job. Our other dogs also adored him as he felt like a genuine safe presence:) We are so grateful for everything James did and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone needing this service. Thank you so much for helping us bring our Winnie home :)”
I conducted this operation at night, when the ground had a chance to cool down and body heat signatures were more pronounced and easier to locate. Focusing our search on last Winnie’s last known location and range of other information, we were able to use time to our advantage, covering over 135 acres of land.
Operations like these involving thermal drone technology are so important in finding lost pets quickly and efficiently. I’m so so happy that we could assist in bringing Winnie home for this lovely couple 😊
