This was a very special Rainbow Bridge shoot. Meet Olaf ❤️

Olaf was recently diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy. Despite everything he’s been through, we were lucky enough to catch him on a lovely day with his two humans at Snelsmore Common, making the most of that beautiful golden-hour light. ✨

Olaf has been by his humans’ side since he was just four months old, and it was so clear how much he adored them and how deeply loved he is in return. He even had the very important job of being their ring bearer at their wedding and travelled all the way from Romania with them to start a new life here in the UK. ❤️

Both of Olaf’s humans are vets, which meant his cancer was thankfully caught early, and we’re keeping everything crossed that he responds well to treatment and has plenty more happy days ahead of him.

He was such a sweet little cutie bean, and it was a real privilege to capture this special time with him and his humans. ❤️🐾

Here he is immortalised walking amongst the heather at Snelsmore common. This, for me, is what it's all about. Making and immortalising memories that will last a lifetime ❤️

Millie and Milo 😍

They were opposites of each other. Milo was happier to be standing still and posing whereas for Millie, she just wanted to be running and chasing her toys!

I only had 3 Lavender sessions this year, however with the hot weather it was good thing as due to the filed opening times I wouldn't have been able to meet demand for early morning sessions when it was cooler and we would have ended up cancelling.

Charlie here came for a rainbow bridge session last week! We timed it just before the heatwave in the evening at one of my absolute favourite locations, Snelsmore common!

The heather here is just starting to bloom and we captured 15 year old Charlie amongst the early buds. At age 15, with arthritis he wasn't walking too far and he came with a buggy to help him get about! 🐾

That said, he seemed to enjoy going somewhere completely new and wanted to get out of the buggy and sniff around. He was also a bit hard of hearing which changes the way I did the session, opting for more visual cues for him to follow rather than the collection of strange noises I usually make 😂

I offer rainbow bridge sessions for dogs over the age of 10 years old and for dogs who are terminal so please do get in touch they are cheaper than my standard sessions and are tailored around older dogs having more time to shoot and focusing less on action shots and more on getting portrait shots. 📸

We recently met up with Willow again on Weston-super-Mare beach at royal sands!

We avoided the hot weather by simply having a dip in the sea 😁 Willow here really loves water and her human wanted to capture her love of water-fetch. I think we may have nailed it!

Something a bit different from my usual! I had the pleasure of photographing a 50th Birthday. Due to the number of children in the photos I am hesitant to share them online due to the use of AI these days. But here's a couple of detail shots. I am always available for events (excluding weddings). I charge £60 per hour. For a 3 hour shoot you'd be looking at 200-300 images including group shots, detail shots of decorations, cakes etc (like the below) & candids through the evening - you would get all the digital copies of each image.

I can provide portfolio samples on request!

Buzz & Shadow at their session at West Woods!

Possibly the most amazing bluebell photo location I've been to and this family absolutely shined in the woods together! Both buzz and shadow had a fantastic time running around together along the winding paths through the woods. Black dogs in the woods can be a challenge due to low lighting, but a patch of sunlight can really bring out their shiny coats 😍

We had a fantastic time at West Woods near Marlborough. My first flatcoated retrievers!

Willow here was stunning, she was a super relaxed girl and she enjoyed exploring the woods. Willow had just had good news as well that she was cancer free! At just 5 years old, she has gone through a lot, but you couldn't tell at all in the photos and she was so lovely. I am actually in love with all of the photos of the two of them together. 😍
