Clouds Hill is in Bovington , Dorset. It was once the retreat of T.E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) and is now run as a museum by the National Trust. A very interesting museum. You can almost feel his presence with a lot of the original contents such as the music room and the bunk room with the foil lined walls. Unfortunately it was very dark inside so photography was very difficult. Sadly Lawrence was fatally injured on the Bovington Road just outside Clouds Hill when he came off his beloved motorbike. Passing away in hospital a few days later. A 6 mile nature walk links Clouds Hill with the spot where Lawrence was fatally injured and the church in Moreton where Lawrence was buried.

St Nicholas Church is a parish church in the village of Moreton, Dorset. During the second world war the church suffered significant bomb damage. In the 1950s the church was refurbished and the stain glass windows were replaced with green glass. The congregation didn't like the green glass and Sir Laurence Whistler a poet and artist from Eltham in London was commissioned to add 13 engraved glass windows. These were added over the years from 1955 with the last being added in 2014. Aside from the windows the church is also famously known for being the burial place of T.E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) who is buried in the cemetery across the road from the church.

The Wave of Poppies opened to the public yesterday at Fort Nelson. It is in it's final year of a UK tour after originally being on display at the Tower of London in 2014 to commemorate a hundred years since WWI (1914-1918).

St Mary's Church, Alverstoke is a Grade II listed building. It is one of three churches of England in the Parish of Alverstoke. There is some belief that it was originally a Saxton church, This was replaced by a Norman Church in 1625. The current church was rebuilt between 1863 and 1885.
