The colours, the vibe, the love - everything about this shoot ✨ popped off ✨

It’s so important to acknowledge and celebrate people as a whole, not just parts of who they are. Ru and Jeffie made it so easy with their warm and open attitudes, and tbh we had such a laugh prepping everything for the shoots.

Unique stories and fab people, what better way to spend a day? 🥰

Top tip: make accessibility part of the conversation when you’re getting to know a client. It can mean a lot to people (especially people in minority groups) when they’re asked if there’s something they might need, without conditions. It isn’t going above and beyond, it’s the bare minimum 👀

🌊 Have you heard of the term “Seahorse Dad”?

A seahorse dad is a gestational parent who is transgender. The term is most typically used by male or masculine identifying people and is also utilised by people who are non-binary or otherwise not female identifying.

The meaning derives from seahorses, of which the male carries and births their young.

As a trans man, I can’t begin to explain how privileged I feel to be approached by people within my community to capture these memories. And it’s moments like this that remind me just how deserving we are of euphoria, happiness and safety.

✨ “We’re all Brighton lovers.” ✨

Yesterday’s shoot with Harry (he/they) and Ralphy (he/they) was such wholesome goodness. Absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing, beats being a part of tender, euphoric memories like this. There’s something about working with people who are so in tune to each other, too.

AND the weather ended up on our side - a dramatic windy morning quickly brought sunshine by the time we were on the beach. Lovely stuff.
