Hi folks

I have a couple of these Mudeford Beach Hut canvases for sale (80cm x 40cm) ready to hang and help brighten a small corner of your home as a reminder of the spring and summer that's round the corner (apparently).

I've never really been able to recreate this shot due to how empty the harbour waters were at that time to make an ‘uncluttered' view.

Priced at £45 each.

Other sizes are available, subject to printing/delivery.

I do like to be a regular contributor to my own FB page, it's only been 3 months since the last update! 🤔 😂

After the third successive wet and windy weekend, a few hours of dryness manifested in a family walk around Mudeford Spit to capture 50 shades of brown around the 200 year old 'Black House'. Half term is over and much of the area was deserted.

Another reason for the camera outing was to try out a 35-year old vintage 28mm manual lens. I reckon it did ok on the Fuji...

Wow, it's been over 7 months since I last posted anything to this page - the day job is immensely busy and time has gone so quickly that I must be having fun, right? 🤔

Anyway, a recent photo session led me to the doors of Dirty Gertie's Gin Parlour in Christchurch for a spot of pre-Christmas festive preparation for the month ahead.

Christmas themed Gin-based cocktails, hot chocolate, and mulled wine were on the drinks menu, together with a new range of 'deconstructed' Christmas dinner sharing platters. Surprisingly, there was even time to take a few images.

This is what we came away with.....so if you haven't already been to sample what's on offer, reserve a table and get yourself down to Dirty Gertie's Gin Parlour along Castle Street in Christchurch.

Who will get the last crispy roast potato? Nom, nom, nom.....👍

So, as work has pretty much eclipsed my ability to partake in the odd camera session, I was walking round the office grounds the other day and this view made me think about the importance of 'reflection'.

We all seem to lead busy lifestyles now, with the constant and apparent need to access information 24/7, the now common instantaneous communication methods makes us read and absorb information way too quickly, this can make us impatient and needing more. However, too much information is a little like junk food, in that too much of it can make us ill!

So in this image, after a crazy day dealing with a host of impatient and demanding people, I stood at the side of this lake and slowed my head down and took time to reflect on what I was looking at, pressing pause and reducing information input.

Never underestimate the importance of reflection, it can help us make sense of our experiences and change our habitual ways of thinking and doing.

Hi all

I have a batch of new canvas prints (printed 2 weeks ago) for sale, local landmarks that don't really need an introduction, but if you don't know, they're (1) Mudeford Spit Black House, (2) Boscombe Pier, (3) Bridge Street, Christchurch.

Canvases are all 100x75cm and just under an inch in thickness ready to hang. Canvases are shrink wrapped in the photos below.

Another batch of large format canvas prints happily delivered to a local commercial client this week to brighen up their office.

I have an extra copy (for sale) of the beach hut image, but at a larger size than you see here measuring a sizeable 120cm x 80cm....👍🏻
