Well those 10 years have passed quickly. My collection of vintage cameras is also 10 times the size it was back then. Even the then modern 5x4 camera I used for the opening events group picture is now in that vintage collection!

Today I was very impressed with the teams and the products and ideas. They all had given thought to what they wanted. We were adding water in one and another brought sand and other supporting props. What’s more I enjoyed the photography!

Again as I would normally say this years event was fabulous and very well organised, but this year I wish to add that despite the COVID cases on the increase in school they still went ahead, the mitigations were very well managed, the audience all wearing masks and happy to do so, the windows open but with a sad tinge the normal refreshments after the presentations abandoned. If all events were well planned managed and executed like this then we will reduce the chance of future lockdowns which sadly may mean that events like this will get missed.
My business relies on no future lockdowns and events cancelled, more events with this kind of professional standard mitigation to keep all safe are a compliment to the staff and students.
