We actually very rarely do styled shoots, mostly because we go big or go home and it requires a lot of effort 🤣🤣 so when Simon in his infinite wisdom decided to turn an open day into a styled photoshoot we were never going to go in half hearted lol - great feedback from prospective couples that they got to see a wedding day as it would actually unfold and we got to have some fun with fellow suppliers achieving the aesthetic we were after. Lots more photos to follow and a think we’d be daft not to do a write up on this one so expect a blog soon too but for now how gorgeous was everyone’s efforts in this stunning day?

We don't just do weddings!
This weekend Just gone took me to possibly one of the best parties I've been to in a long time with an absolutely fantastic DJ, I don't recall her name, but for Bob's 40th, he bought in a well known DJ from across the waters, Damn she was brilliant! mixing 80s, 90s right into more modern stuff and really got the floor alive.
Great night all around, thankyou for having me guys! you were all great and so lovely! and really played for the camera. love the pictures, the lighting and the groups were great!

This couples wedding story will have to be shared in 2 halves. because Trains....
When we first met with Sophie and Alex they had mentioned that Alex had worked the trains for a long time and had arranged for one to be part of the wedding journey for him and his guys.
As the planning progressed they arranged for me to join them for the train ride! Yes! (Jo sulked a lot as she didn't come)
Off we went on the literally had such a great time rattling along trying to take some pictures for the guys as we went. it was great! its not every day you get to have the train whistling through the stations with everyone waiving on your wedding day.
Just brilliant!

A new church for us, Minster church i can now say is just stunning! the perfect backdrop to start the journey with Anjelica and Callum. Married in front of their friends and family in front of god,
Now I'm not a huge religion follower, but I am a religion respecter as I call it.
While churches are stunning, they are also places of peach and worship. while I've never decided on my place within religion, I do love to watch and observe the faiths in a ceremony. I don't know God personally, but always had a respect for those with faith, and belief. Who knows one day I may meet the good lord himself. Anyhow. this day isn't just about faith, its about 2 people joining as one in the eyes of the Lord, from here they celebrate the lives together, they were the most gentle, polite and just lovely couple to work with, we had such fun and wish you both a life time of happiness together.

The stunning Crown Lodge a venue very close to our heart, and one we love returning to time after time.
( if you know you know ) No matter what the weather throws at you this venue is just stunning. the venue, the views and the staff are just amazing! so naturally it was a dream to come back a few times this yea, here for Connie and Nathans special day below the leaves. everyone loves this drive under the trees, and the portraits above the stunning Wye downs. And of course we love beautiful stuff and playing too.

A regular venue for us at I think for our 3rd wedding here this year, Something I love about this venue is that they are so flexible. A build your own dream wedding venue the team will run with your ideas and bring it together.
This couple were all for the fun I'm not sure there was a serious bone in either of them and it was brilliant. fun relaxed and more fun. and some very questionable dance moves defiantly happened. but lets not look at that, lets look at this stunning car! Omg what a dream!

When we shoot a wedding at Canterbury registry office its not uncommon for us to then take our couples for a wander about to get some couples portraits. Where we end up very much depends on the vibe, the weather and the couple.
Sometimes it comes naturally, and other times its very spontaneous.
This started relaxed and then spontaneous set in.
Walking back from our little explore, Simon piped up with, Run into the middle of the road and do a dip kiss in front of the arch Couple..... On it!
Georgina and Vicky were always up for ideas, starting a little shy they very quickly warmed to being ambitious. what was a very quick and chill walk about in the scorching heat of the heatwave was still a delight and an opportunity to capture some memories.

The rain held off, the sun took a brake and Sharon and Emma Tied the Knot literally a few weeks ago, Another celebrant led ceremony that could really be them. Bringing out their own personalities for this hand fasting ceremony with the family and friends closest to them, with the cool breeze finally upon us, it was as always a pleasure to be here with them to celebrate and capture the memories of the ceremony together.
I love a detail on a wedding day in this case The colours of their hand fasting ribbon representing their pride in who they are.
