And so it was that I, Gavin Hardy, did venture far from the tranquility of the Garden of England, over hills and many motorways, and on to the quite frankly even calmer farm wedding in the Cotswolds of Nick and Ronnie. Armed only with two cameras and my sparkling personality with one goal: take cool photos!

“Hey Gav, what’s it like shooting weddings to a 95% documentary ideology but you’ve still got to get some super sexy portraits!?!”

Well that’s a good question, so the way I play it is like this: I see a cool photo opportunity and I say “I’ve seen a cool photo that I need you for, wanna go for it?”

And if they say yes we get a super sexy portrait. If they say no, they don’t!

Jo and Nick said yes, hoorar!

Doesn’t stop me getting the super sexy documentary shots too 🙃

Don’t be fooled, this is documentary.
It’s just really really classy documentary!

See here’s the thing, a dominated photo comes in many shapes and sizes, and as I said on a video call last night… I’m still weak for a beaut photo!

So in this moment when the make up artist was doing the traditional pre-wedding portrait shoot I took my opportunity to grab a couple of shots.
