A bit of complimentary photography to support a local business while I was photographing in the Port of Dover.

It must be tough to run a business in Dover, so it's good to see and support one.

Here is the Breakwater Marina Curve. Although I have never met him before, a very friendly chap with plenty of refreshments at the bar.

Gotcha - I always find the DHB patrol vessel a tricky one to catch on the move and on camera. It's a nippy little craft and doesn't hang around. Always busy and running around the port or moored up. The trick is to be in the right place at the right time.

A shout out to the crews who work around the port in all weathers in the Port of Dover.

Anchored To Dover

There is a little history to these anchors after a bit of research. And they have been moved around the port over the years. Opinions vary on the origins, regardless.....

I have always found them a little tricky to photograph and never seemed to get it quite right.

Settings: Canon EOS R6 MKII - 1/4000 - ISO100 - f4 - 24mm and used the photo stacking.
