A beautiful sunny evening at the Cocoabean Twynholm was the setting for the annual Kirkcudbright Cornets Ball. A great event to photograph and nice to see lots of familiar faces.

Portrait Photography

With the summer here and school holidays approaching there is no better time to take that special family photos. Portraits can be taken in the studio or a location of your choice.

This beautiful portrait was taken on Southerness beach and really gives a fantastic backdrop to any family portrait. Location portraits are very relaxed and casual making it very easy and enjoyable for the whole family.

New Wedding Album for 2026

Just arrived through the door is our stunning new wedding album called "The Wedding Album". This is absolutely beautiful. This new album is here to help bride and grooms eliminate some of the decisions when designing something that is so important as your wedding album.

This new album is available in 10'x10' and can incorporate approx 100 finished images. All albums come with a matching presentation box to enhance the stunning album. All you have to choose is the style of cover and presentation box.

World Record for 24hours Golfing

I had the great pleasure on Monday and Tuesday to photograph two friends attempting to break the world record for the most golf holes played in 24 hours. The record stood at 180 holes so 10 rounds of golf played.

They managed to play an unbelievable 201 holes, thats 11 rounds and 3 holes which is absolutely incredible. Davie and Jeff were attempting this challenge in aid of Prostate Buddies. A fabulous charity that provides help for many families affected by prostate cancer.

I would like to offer my congratulations to them both on a fabulous effort. I know it was not easy but very well done.

British Superbikes at Knockhill

A little treat for me yesterday as I was watching some great bike racing at knockhill. Some close calls and few crashes but an excellent day in the sunshine. As expected I took my camera and here a few images including race winner Scott Redding on the No 45 Ducati.
