✨ CHRISTMAS MINI SESSIONS 2026 ✨

First of all, I’m sorry I’ve been away for so long.
My account was hacked and I lost access to it for around three months. Thankfully, I finally have full access again and I’m very happy to be back. ❤️

And now for something much nicer.
As every year, Christmas Mini Session bookings are officially OPEN! 🎄

This year I’ve used a little help from AI to create an inspiration image showing the direction and feel of this year’s Christmas setup.

My studio is currently a bit of a battlefield between product photography and food editorial shoots, so unfortunately I don’t have the space to build the full Christmas set for a test shoot just yet.

The inspiration image gives you a good idea of what I’m planning.

This year’s main colour palette will be:
- White
- Beige
- Cream
- Gold

Soft, elegant, warm and timeless, as always.

Children, families and of course your four legged family members are all very welcome.

Dogs and other pets are absolutely welcome to join the session too. :)

Funny Christmas banners and a selection of new festive props will also be available during the sessions, so we can add a little extra fun and personality to your photos. :)

Includes 5 professionally edited images.

£50 deposit required to secure your booking, payable by bank transfer.

A real moment.

Story of one image shared by few

This gentleman came in simply to enjoy a quiet pint and read his newspaper. Under the bench beside him was his old dog, patiently keeping him company.

We chatted for a moment.
I told him I recognised him from one of my previous visits. I asked if he would mind me taking a photo and he kindly agreed.
I told him not to pay any attention to me.
I didn’t want it to look posed, and I didn’t need a smile for the camera.

I spent a moment playing with his dog, giving him a little belly rub, and while he was focused on his newspaper I quietly captured this image — completely natural, just as the moment was.

Sometimes the most beautiful photographs are the ones that simply show life as it is.

Afternoon Tea with a View at Bayswell Park Hotel

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing a local hotel and restaurant’s *Afternoon Tea for Two* and what a treat it was!

Delicate sandwiches, mouth-watering pastries, and sweet little desserts, all beautifully served with a stunning view of the cliffs and the sea.
The combination of great food and this coastal scenery was simply unbeatable, and capturing that feeling was pure joy. 😊

I have to admit, I was very smart that morning.
I came after breakfast, because the smells were absolutely irresistible! 😅 It would’ve been hard not to “accidentally” taste one of those mini sandwiches or pastries. 🫣

Dusk magic in the garden 🌙

There’s nothing quite like photographing outdoor spaces as the sun sets.
Recently, I captured a beautiful Airbnb flat with this garden in Edinburgh, complete with a hot tub, right at dusk — and the difference is remarkable.

Why dusk works so well for exterior shots:
- Soft, balanced light – The fading natural light combines perfectly with garden lamps or hot tub lighting, creating a magical, inviting glow.
-Atmosphere and mood – Twilight adds depth and warmth, making the space feel cozy and private.
- No harsh shadows – Unlike midday sun, the soft light highlights textures and greenery naturally, without glare.
