Continuing the theme of , this is what I do when the bride hates having her photograph taken. First I put the bride and groom in a lovely location, ask them to chat and hug, and then I walk away.... Both these photographs were taken on a telephoto zoom lens, ensuring I was not too close and to let the couple relax without having to notice I was there.

With the recent controversy here in the UK surrounding vicars and their attitudes towards wedding photographers, I would like to say I have never had a problem. I almost always stand at the back of the aisle, so no-one is aware I am there. It's the definition of my 'unobtrusive' style.⁠
Any competent wedding photographer should have a range of lenses, from wide-angle to telephoto, to allow them to photograph scenes like these in St. Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh.⁠
