The National Museum of Scotland, in Edinburgh's Old Town contains many impressive artifacts and stories within a stunning building. Here, the glass roof tops a hall containing a lighthouse, water fountain, a model of the museum and tantalising glimpses of planes and formula 1 racing cars. I can highly recommend a visit here. Located a mere 900 million km from Jupiter, this artland is much more accessible and well worth a visit (it is near Edinburgh). A wonderful woodland stroll with many interesting sculptures, combined to sculpted lawns and interesting flower based displays (IYKYK), it is a great place to enjoy nature, art and peace

Some places are so jaw droppingly incredible that you want to stay there forever. The Rockies in Canada is one of those places. Here is the view over Banff from the top of the Gondola at Sulphur mountain.

Inchcolm Island is located in the Firth of Forth, between Edinburgh and the South of Fife. A small and, at times, very narrow island (you can see both sides of the island either side of the pathway). It is incredible to see the Abbey that had been built there around the 12th Century. Its strategic location has lead to many problems and opportunities for the island.

The island is now under the protection and care of Historic Scotland and receives visitors from the few boat tours that arrive every day.

For a small Island, it is very impressive and well worth visiting if you get a chance.

Built in the Gothic Revival style in the late 1800’s and inspired by the UK Parliament in London, this stunning building houses the chamber of Government. Situated on the banks of the Danube River, this impressive building becomes even better (in my opinion) at night when, in common with many landmarks across the city, it is illuminated.
