Things have been very busy for me lately between work, and my mum visiting me, so I haven't shared as much!

I took this picture a few weeks ago, during a run in Devilla Forest with Scout. The weather was very different from what it is today!

I find it so peaceful to walk and/or run in woodlands. Trees make us feel so small, don't they? 😊

Hello peeps! 👋

I have been quiet, because I have been pretty busy with work, and life in general!

I wrote this quite recently, as one of my friends was beating herself up over one small mistake she did at work.

I used to be really really mean to myself for a long time, but after years (and years!) of therapy, I'm learning to shut down that critical voice. It defo doesn't work every time, but when it does, it feels amazing.

How do you talk to yourself when you make a mistake?

Earlier this week, I went for a new explore around Loch Glow Reservoir and Dumglow. I love exploring new places during a run.

The weather was absolutely fantastic, and the views were breathtaking!

That picture was taken 2 years ago today!

It was during a motorhome holiday with my wife. That day I remember sitting on a bench opposite the sea with a cup of tea, inhaling the fresh air, and feeling incredibly grateful.

I love spending time outdoors, and taking pictures of nature, because Mother Nature always has something to give!

I wrote this poem a few years ago, I'm defo still learning this.. and probably will for a long time!

Life can be amazing, yet also challenging at times, so I think we should all try and enjoy the ride the best way we can!

I love it when my wife and I go for a wee explore together.

Today, we discovered Glen Devon area, which is about 30/40 min from where we live, many hills and reservoirs, SO pretty!

I'm defo gonna want to try a few runs and further walks there!

One of the reasons I love woodlands and/or hills is because nature has a way to make us feel small.

When I go for my morning walks or my runs and when I'm surrounded by trees, I enjoy looking up and feeling grateful for a few seconds.
