I deliberately used a shallow depth-of-field for this shot as I wanted the bokeh behind the logs. However, in hindsight, I would have extended the focus depth just a little to get more of that further away log in focus.

I love this time of the day for taking photos. The low sun just makes everything look so dramatic, especially forests.
