A sea of tulips at RHS Wisley 🌷

You all voted on your favourite tulip edit in stories and this was the one! I have to say I agree. I love a little more saturation - it really makes the reds, oranges and yellows pop.

Spring is out in force but I wish it would bring the sunshine with it! You have a couple more weeks to enjoy these beautiful blooms at Wisley if you want to see them. Don’t miss out until next year!

Could this be the prettiest little seaside town in England?

Well, it gets my vote, and it just so happens that Jane Austen loved it too!

Nestled on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, Lyme Regis is a beautiful old town filled with quaint little historic buildings that lean and bend over cobbled back streets and sharp inclines.

With a seafront parade, coastal views, and a stunning High Street, Lyme Regis offers spectacular sights mingled with history dating back many millions of years! Dressed for the coronation, it looked absolutely splendid last week.

Whether you’re looking for a cream tea, a coastal stroll or a spot of fossil hunting, Lyme Regis is a fantastic way to experience the English seaside. If you’re looking for something to do for the last May bank holiday, I’d thoroughly recommend heading down to this coastal retreat for some sea air.

I’ve been visiting Lyme Regis since I was about 7 years old so I would say I’m officially a seasoned fossil hunter now!

Sometimes I love just walking in the woods and imagining I’m in an enchanted forest!
🌲🌲🌲

This week, I took Leia for a beautiful bluebell walk in Chantry Woods, near Guildford. It’s an amazing ancient woodland filled with old trees, sloping banks and swathes of flowering spring bluebells.

It’s the first time I’ve seen this wood during spring, and it really is worthwhile visiting! Make sure you stick to the paths if you visit Chantry Woods though, or you’ll crush these pretty little flowers before they can be pollinated, and they won’t be able to return next year.

This is also the first time I’ve taken self-portraits using a tripod in a public place. I was so nervous of people who might be judging! That said, I’m really happy with how they came out and Leia had so much fun posing, too 🐶

Did you know that in Japanese culture, cherry blossom symbolises rebirth? 🌸

This row of cherry blossoms are blooming on my street and I couldn’t wait to get out at golden hour to capture them ✨

I love their delicate, pretty, pink petals. These cherry blossoms are especially beautiful because of their deep colour and heavy boughs, laden with double blooms 🌸
