I honestly can’t recommend Rachel at RSR Ceremonies enough. ❤️
Rachel was the celebrant for my Granchi’s funeral today and she was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She took the time to really listen to us and learn about the person he was, and somehow managed to put everything together so beautifully.
On such an incredibly difficult day, she made the service feel personal, warm and completely about him. She spoke with so much care and compassion, and we had so many comments about what a wonderful service it was,
Thank you so much, Rachel, for helping us give our Granchi the send-off he deserved. We’ll always be incredibly grateful. ❤️
Three services in just a few days. Three families. Three completely different lives.
Over the past few days, I’ve had the privilege of standing alongside three families and helping them say goodbye to someone they loved.
And I can honestly say, I won’t forget a single one of them.
Each farewell has been completely different, because every person has their own story. Their own character, their own people, their own memories, their own funny moments and all those little things that made them them.
Today, I looked out at a crematorium overflowing with people, with many more joining the service online. Seeing just how many people had come together to remember and say goodbye to one person was incredibly moving.
But whether I’m speaking to an intimate gathering or a room overflowing with people, what matters to me remains exactly the same — telling that person’s story in a way that feels true to who they were.
Capturing their personality.
Bringing smiles amongst the tears.
Remembering the moments that mattered.
And giving their family a farewell that feels right.
Being trusted with someone’s story and their final farewell is something I will never take for granted.
These past few days have reminded me just how privileged I am to do what I do.
Three very different lives, three very special stories and three farewells I won’t forget.
