A Celebration of the Life of Vladimir McTavish

For more than 40 years, Vladimir McTavish was one of the defining voices of Scottish comedy. A master storyteller, fearless satirist and one of the finest comedians to ever grace a stage, Vlad inspired audiences and generations of performers with his intelligence, wit and generosity. He was described as "one of the finest acts on the Scottish comedy circuit" and was renowned not only for his immense talent, but for the kindness and encouragement he showed to everyone around him.

Join us as we celebrate the life, laughter and extraordinary legacy of a true comedy legend.

Expect an evening filled with stories, memories and live comedy from friends and fellow comedians whose lives were touched by Vlad.
Nik Coppin Liam Jackson Bob Graham Paul McDaniel John O'Brien Shannon Brooke as we remember a man who made every green room brighter, every line-up stronger and left an unforgettable mark on Scottish comedy.

After 16 years of blood, sweat and tears, thousands of hours on stage and behind the scenes, countless miles travelled, and an obsession with creating the very best live comedy experience, today marks a huge milestone.

๐Ÿ€ The Good, The Bad & The Irish Comedy Festival has officially launched as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe!

From 31st July โ€“ 7th August, Edinburgh's Royal Mile will host the first-ever Good, The Bad & The Irish Comedy Festival, bringing together some of the funniest Irish comedians for eight nights of raw, intimate stand-up comedy.

This festival is the culmination of years of hard work, setbacks, sold-out shows, lessons learned, and an unwavering belief that audiences deserve honest, unfiltered comedy in a room where every laugh matters.

Whether you're visiting the Fringe, live in Edinburgh, or simply love stand-up, we'd love to welcome you through our doors.
