Frankfurt Airport (IATA: FRA) is Germany's main international airport by passenger numbers. The airport is operated by Fraport and serves as the main hub for Lufthansa, including Lufthansa City Airlines, Lufthansa CityLine and Lufthansa Cargo as well as Condor and AeroLogic. It covers an area of 2,300 hectares of land and features two passenger terminals with capacity for approximately 65 million passengers per year.

Leith Market is a bustling farmers market right beside the Water of Leith in Edinburgh. There are lots of friendly people and a big selection of local food and produce, creative crafts, street food, and original art. It is open every Saturday between 10am and 4pm. A great place to spend your Saturday morning while in Leith and support local businesses.

Rua de Santa Maria in Funchal, Madeira, is one of oldest and most colourful streets in the city center. It has became one of Funchal’s most popular tourist attractions after the local council came up with an initiative to revamp the area. In 2014 the “Art of Open Doors” project was started. The street was turned into a public art space and local artists were invited to decorate over two hundred of the street’s doors. Today, there are around 200 painted doors in Rua de Santa Maria and the surrounding streets.

Nowy Świat, known in English as 'New World Street', is one of the main historic thoroughfares of Warsaw, Poland. It comprises part of the Royal Route (Trakt królewski) that extends from Warsaw's Royal Castle and Old Town, south to King John III Sobieski's 17th-century royal residence at Wilanów.

Until the 16th century, Nowy Świat was a main road leading to numerous aristocratic palaces and villages south of Warsaw. The street's present name was coined in the 17th century, after the city had begun growing substantially.

In the Napoleonic period, Warsaw grew substantially and Nowy Świat was almost completely rebuilt. Wooden manors gave way to stone and brick, mostly three-story, neoclassical buildings. By the end of the 19th century, the buildings had been expanded and Nowy Świat had become one of the principal business streets of Warsaw.

During the Warsaw Uprising (August–October 1944), Nowy Świat was almost completely destroyed. The Germans reduced most of its fine building as it was one of the most important streets in the center of Warsaw. At war's end, it was decided to rebuild Nowy Świat.

Today, Nowy Świat boasts many shops, restaurants, and cafes. It is considered to be a prime location for luxury retailers.

The Warsaw Metro (Polish: Metro Warszawskie) is a rapid transit underground system serving the Polish capital Warsaw. It currently consists of two lines, the north–south M1 line which links central Warsaw with its densely populated northern and southern districts, and the east–west M2 line. Three more lines (M3, M4, and M5) are planned.

The first section of M1 was opened in 1995 and the line was gradually extended until it reached its full length in October 2008. The initial segment of M2, measuring 6.3 kilometres with seven stations, one of which, Świętokrzyska, includes a transfer between the two lines, was opened on 8 March 2015.

Join me on a walk around the Old Town in Warsaw, Poland.

Warsaw Old Town (Stare Miasto w Warszawie) is the oldest portion of Warsaw city in Poland. It contains numerous historic buildings, mostly from 17th and 18th centuries, such as the Royal Castle, city walls, St. John's Cathedral, and the Barbican.

During World War II, the Old Town was nearly totally destroyed, and subsequently reconstructed. The project was the world's first attempt to resurrect an entire historic city core and was included on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1980.

The Old Town Market Place (Rynek Starego Miasta), which dates back to the end of the 13th century, is the true heart of the Old Town, and until the end of the 18th century it was the heart of all of Warsaw. This is where the representatives of guilds and merchants met in the Town Hall, and fairs and the occasional ex*****on were held. The houses around it represented the Gothic style until the great fire of 1607, after which they were rebuilt in late-Renaissance style.
