We spent the weekend catching up with our friends Kevin & Dani… and what a weekend it turned out to be 🐎✨

We had the pleasure of watching Scarlett in her absolute element at Kinshaldy Stables and honestly, it was something special. The confidence, the joy, the connection between her and her horse… you could see how much she loves it.

A huge shoutout to the incredible lady who runs the stables (I’ll need to catch your name next time!). Her energy, encouragement, and passion made the whole experience even better. It’s clear the horses are not only beautifully cared for, but genuinely loved ❤️

Spent some time at Marley & Co over the holidays capturing some of the lovely dogs that came in 🐾📸

These sessions have been part of my charity photo shoots over the Easter break – a great way to meet local dog owners and raise a bit of money for a good cause at the same time. Thank you to everyone who’s been involved so far 🙌 You can still donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/graeme-peters-3?utm_medium=FA&utm_source=CL

I’m back to work on Monday, which means my availability will be much more limited until the summer holidays. However… behind the scenes, I’ll be working on something exciting 👀

I’m planning to properly launch my pet photography under Wilbur & Co this summer – with a new website, updated branding, and a bigger focus on creating high-quality, meaningful images of your dogs.

My Graeme Peters Photography page will remain, but will be more focused on events, businesses, and commercial work.

If you’ve been thinking about getting photos of your dog, keep an eye out over the next few months… big things coming this summer 🐶✨

Looking forward to seeing you all and your pups 🐶 🐾

Just arrived home after a lovely day out in the sun, snapping some lovely dogs and meeting some lovely humans!

I've now got to go through tens of gigabytes of photos, whilst lathering on some aftersun, because apparently I'm now burnt to a crisp!

Thank you to everyone who came out today! Those who were booked and those who weren't, but were happy to have their pups snapped.

I hope you all enjoy your pics!
I'll try to get them edited this week!

So yesterday I posted in two local facebook groups offering mini dog photography sessions and the response has been incredible!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shown interest in the charity dog photography sessions this week. I’ve genuinely been blown away by the number of messages and form submissions 🙌

I’m currently working through all of the responses and organising sessions based on location and availability. If you’ve filled in the form already, I’ll be in touch soon with your confirmed time slot 👍

📍 Sessions will be taking place at local parks: Auldcathie Park, Winchburgh. (Possibly other venues, too)

📸 Each session is relaxed, fun, and all in support of a great cause (Help for Heroes)

🐶 And most importantly, it’s all about capturing your dog’s personality

📃 I've had some people message me, saying they're worried about clicking the link to the Google Form. I understand the apprehension. If anyone has any worries, please let me know, and I'll do my best to reassure you.

If you haven’t managed to get a space this time, don’t worry. I’ll definitely be running more of these sessions, especially during the school holidays. This has been such a positive experience already, and I’d love to keep it going!

This week is going to be brilliant, lots of dogs, lots of photos, and plenty of content to share 😄

If you see your dog featured, feel free to share it. It all helps raise awareness (and more support) for the charity 🐾

Thanks again everyone. I'm really looking forward to meeting you and your dogs!

It's been suggested to me that I should do something that I find restorative. For me, this is taking pictures and sharing them with anyone willing to look at them.

I'm quite proud of these photos, to be honest.

We took Wilbur for a walk by Blackness Castle and along the coast today. If you haven't been there before, I'd highly reccomend it. There's a lovely view of the bridges and you can walk all the way across, opposite the Rosyth dockyard, where the HMS Queen Elizabeth is currently docked.

We've not long moved into Winchburgh, so if you know of any other walks to do, or things to take photos of in or around West Lothian, please let me know!

Pipers appreciation!

World Class drummers need a World Class performance to play along with and there certainly was plenty of those on Saturday!

In particular, I loved the creativity in the medleys. Given that there was some set 'criteria' like the MMSSRR format and the 9/8 March and 9/8 Jigs in the medleys, it really encouraged some creativity (as well as displays of stamina) for both pipers and drummers!
