Roberta and Andrew are mighty excited about the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend. Not only will it not be pouring with rain, we've quite the events line up:

Hidden Door Festival 2016 launches tonight at 6pm. A sublime smorgasbord of music, art, theatre, cinema, spoken word, poetry, street food and the finest of lagers (guess which) transforms the disused street lighting depot on King's Stables Road. Eduardo is surely watching over this one.

The Paper Mill Craft Beer Festival 2016 is oh so nearly sold out, but you can still nab a Sunday day ticket. Paolozzi lager will be on the bar among other great beers, and we'll be along with our newly repaired disco dray offering a sample or two.

If you prefer your Paolozzi in the comfort of your own home/garden/picnic spot, the brewery shop is open today until 6pm and Bank Holiday Monday 10-6 for all your take-home bottle and draught Paolozzi needs. You can even join us here for a drink.

Lea's stairs.

My great grandmother turned 100 years old last week and for the last 70 or so years she's lived in the same flat. I asked her how many times she'd walked down these stairs and she just laughed and said "too many to count son".
