Lightning storm hits Edinburgh at 3am this morning, taken from Dalgety Bay, Fife 🌩️

I was not prepared at all for this, woken about 15 minutes before, I stumbled around trying to find all my camera paraphernalia. I couldn't find my tripod plate in that moment, memory card wasn't in the camera etc etc. I ended up taking this handheld, or balancing it on the ground! The storm started approaching and I realised I better move away from the nearby trees, then the rain hit... Was happy to get something! Next time I'll be better prepared. What a morning!
