After an incredibly long hiatus I finally managed to stave off the worst of anxiety to actually shoot again. Last Saturday in Nairn with the help of the very patient and amazing Antonia we shot for a few hours and got some very pleasing images.

We're already discussing another shoot which I'm excited for.

Another one from the archive...I think this must have been around 2008 when I was living just outside Newcastle upon Tyne. Had some great shoots with a group of photographers and models in one of the town centre studios and this was captured on one of those days.

Always an interesting experience looking at old work and thinking about how far I've come since then. I can see the improvement but at other times I can see things that don't need to change. It's all about the journey though, not the end result and I'm still happy with this portrait.

One from the archives and the epitome of the "wet look". Back in 2007 and if memory servs shooting on the beach at Whitley Bay...a bright sunny day but still decided to process this in black and white :)

I see things that I would do differently now but hindsight is a fantastic thing and is always 20/20. That being said I still really like this image and have a print of this in my physical portfolio.

A wonderful shoot today with Ellis who absolutely nailed the shoot despite it being her first time in front of the camera. More edits to follow and we're already discussing our next shoot :)
