It's been a while but today's family Easter has really reminded me what I love about capturing candid moments and has got me yearning to start weddings again!...................................................watch this space!

It is with regret that I have to inform you all that I am taking a break from photography.

I am very aware that photographing someone’s wedding day is not just a job but a huge responsibility and something that I do not take lightly. There’s only 1 chance to get it right and failing to deliver isn’t an option.

I haven’t been able to do much photography work during Covid and I am very out of practice, which is making me kind of anxious about taking on weddings again. Moreover, my main job is taking all of my time and energy and I do not feel that I have the time that it takes to provide a professional photography service on top of that.

I will continue to do some portrait/studio work and I will be back on the wedding circuit again at some point in the future - I really enjoy it, just lost the edge!

Moray Sports Centre (Linkwood, Elgin) on Sat 31st Oct. Slots available 09:20 to 15:40

Sitting fee only £10 for a 20 minute session and will be discounted off your order if you spend £31 or more on downloads or prints. For example, if you order downloads at £35, then you pay the booking fee of £10 and a payment of £25 for your pictures.

if you don't like/want the photographs then there's nothing more to pay!!

Had fun with this! Cordy wasn't too keen on posing to give Rudolph a kiss - so carrot it was!!!

Looking forward to the shoots at the Craigmonie and Moray Sports Centre - a new venue for me! Half of the fun is processing the pictures after the shoot as you don't see the looks on the children's faces when behind the camera!!

3 new Christmas backdrops added for this year, can't wait to have a play with these next time my 2 wee models are available!!! Also a Halloween scene..... Well, it is the 31st Oct at Moray Sports Centre.

More news as soon as I've confirmed with the venues but the Inverness session will probably be at the Craigmonie Hotel on Sat 24th Oct. The Elgin session at Moray Sports Centre (by Linkwood Distillery) on either Sat 31st Oct or Sat 7th Nov!!

Christmas is coming!!!

Starting to get excited, despite Covid!! It's nearly time to start Christmas photos!! Still looking for a venue in Inverness and Elgin but will have news on that soon!

Prices are just £10 for a sitting; if you don't like the pictures then there's nothing more to pay. The images are delivered to you by digital download so that you can print as many copies as you want, or order canvasses, Christmas cards etc from places like Photobox.

I'm looking at the last weekend in October/1st weekend in November; PM if you would like to book a slot, card or BACS payments welcome.

Very little doing by way of normal work this year......I guess the Devil makes work for idle hands ;-)

The clients' briefs were as follows:

"I'd like something glitzy with my Snapstar dolls"
"Dinosaurs Grandad!"

At least the grand kids will have something nice to remember 2020 by!!!

What do you think of this year's new Christmas picture?? The models didn't come cheap - toy purchase in Tesco was negotiated!!

Well, that's the website back online after 12 months, thanks to house move, new job and COVID19!!! A couple of pages seem to be broken but I'll fix them over the weekend....... Its good to be back!!
