From an early age.....
I have always loved photography and remember being the only child with a camera on my school trip to Chester Zoo at the age of 8, pestering the teacher to wait by the tigers for a bit longer until I got the shot I wanted. I think it's in the blood.....
My Grandfather was a freelance photo journalist and both he and my Dad were keen hobby photographers. They both drove us al

l mad with their constant requests to "pose like this" and "look into the camera" which may be part of the reason why I find myself so much more at home behind the camera than in front of it. Here I am now, asking the same of my children.It wasn't long before I was spending hours on end in my dad's dark room learning everything I could. I have a passion....
for capturing those wonderful, heart warming moments and preserving them to be enjoyed over again instead of so easily being lost or forgotten. I often sit and look back at my own photographs with fondness. This drives me on to be the best photographer I can be and to preserve your memories for you. It is such a special honour....
to be invited to share in your special family moments. I love getting to know families and capturing them in photos as they grow and change.

I know rain probably isn’t part of the wedding day you’ve pictured in your head, but some of my favourite wedding photos have been taken in the rain!

Grab the umbrellas, hitch up your dress and come outside with me! Rain can give us gorgeous reflections, dramatic skies, beautiful light and those romantic shots that you might never have planned for.

You can plan almost every detail of your wedding, but unfortunately the British weather isn’t one of them 😂
So if it rains... let it. Just laugh, embrace it and enjoy yourselves.

You’re still marrying your favourite person, surrounded by everyone you love and I promise we can create something gorgeous whatever the weather throws at us 🤍

Why I ALWAYS arrive early to a wedding day…

It’s not because I’m worried about being late 😂

I love arriving with plenty of time because those first few minutes set the tone for the whole day. It gives me chance to say hello, get to know everyone, have a little look around the venue and start capturing all those details you’ve spent months choosing before everything gets super busy.

I also never want you to feel rushed!

Wedding mornings already have enough going on. The last thing you need is your photographer flying through the door, camera in hand and adding to the chaos!

I want you to feel like you can relax, enjoy getting ready with your favourite people and almost forget I’m there.

And quite often, it’s in that extra time that I capture some of my favourite photographs…the little interactions, the excitement building and those lovely in-between moments that you simply can’t recreate later.

So yes…I’ll probably be early 😁

It’s the most magical time of year…and my Christmas Minis will be officially open for booking this Saturday but if you’re on my mailing list you’ll get PRE-ACCESS to book from 9am on Friday 28th August! These sessions book up fast so get yourself on the mailing list to book asap.

£95 includes:
- A fun, festive session at my Elland studio with 2 different sets
