Some of you may be aware I was diagnosed with Poly Myalgia Rheumatica late last year. This is a horrible chronic inflammatory condition resulting in your entire body eventually seizing up. It literally took me 2 hours to get ready in the morning and I was hobbling around like a 90 year old (no jokes). 😅 It took 4 months for the correct diagnosis, and turned out to be nothing Prednisolone Steroids couldn't sort out! 🙏 A n y w a y ... this has resulted in the photography studio being converted into a gym studio for the time being, and I've spent the last 3 months building up muscle and cardio vascular strength and I am now rearing to go. 💪✨ (Turns out it was both the worst and the best thing health wise to happen to me!)

Yesterday I took advantage of the fantastic weather we were having, and got to photograph the most beautiful little munchkin in the entire multiverse. 🥰❤️ Today was spent refining those fine motor skills in Photoshop. 📸✨

Happy New Year everyone and what an amazing start to it! ❄️⛄

This is one of my favourite locations for family photo sessions. "The Path Less Travelled Forest". Untouched, unspoilt and blanketed in a winter kiss.

No edits necessary. 😉

Spare a thought for our wildlife please and put out seeds and tepid water. 🫶 Warmer days are coming!

As 2025 draws rapidly to an end, may I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who used Michelle E. Stevens Photography this year.

I have loved each and every session, enjoyed meeting each and every family, absolutely loved seeing how your children have grown and matured since their last session, and honestly poured my heart into providing you all with the best images possible. 📸✨

Thank you also, to all of you who took the time to provide a review, and to those of you who provided referrals and purchased gift vouchers and interacted with this page. I am so grateful. ❤️ Photography is the best job in the world, and it goes without saying, it is a fiercely competitive industry.

May you all have the most magical Christmas, and the happiest of New Years. I can't wait to see what 2026 holds for us all.

So... my final photo session for 2025 ended with a beautiful bang, with this gorgeous little lady coming in for her very first Christmas Composite Session. 📸🎅✨ She was the lucky raffle winner for a community event that was held recently. What a happy, contented, intelligent little one she is, full of smiles, babbles, and absolutely crazy about her lovely momma bear. ❤️ We had to include some portrait shots, as they were far too cute to leave lying on my hard drive. 🥰

These beautiful sisters were in for their Christmas Studio Session yesterday. The little one on the left, was one of my very first photography clients, and it has been wonderful to watch her grow over the years. She has also turned into the best big sister anyone could wish for. I feel very priviledged to have been a small part of her journey and facilitated in capturing some memorable moments for her and her family. 🎅📸✨

This little one is totally natural and at ease in front of the camera and I honestly love photographing her. I definitely see a modelling career for her in the future!
