Something a little different. If anybody is in the Norwich area and at a loose end tomorrow evening, I am speaking at the Norwich and District Photographic Society (NDPS).

It is part personal story and part practical exploration of the my craft. It traces my journey from pursuing the photographs everyone else seemed to be taking to discovering a distinctive vision in the most ordinary places: doorways, alleyways, industrial estates and the wide, open landscapes of the Fens.

Lovely to see, support and photograph everybody yesterday at the Boghopper Races Ltd Boudicca Way Ultra. The weather was very kind to us and it was great to be out on the course this year and not having to make a manic rush to the finish line.

Another productive week. An evening at the coast with the family, and a run that turned into more of a photo wander than a run, weaving between compositions at the local chicken farm and a quiet village garden. Plus a few for Light Around The Home. This week's Photoweek is up. Enjoy!
