📸 *SNEAK PEEK* 📸

Beach day was a great success on Saturday!! A lovely cool breeze was very welcome and we all had fantastic fun in the sand! Here's a sneaky peek at one of the gorgeous families that travelled up for the day out with their girls and my the photos are so worth it!!

A very Happy Birthday to Arthur who celebrates his first birthday this month 🎊

Wild at One he is as he smashed his way through the cake, getting super messy and enjoying every second. So many beautiful smiles, and memories made capturing this important milestone.

The best part for dad was not having to clean up the mess afterwards 😉 you can leave that to me! Mum loved the shoot and the photos and all in all the photoshoot felt very relaxed.

I have been photographing cake smash sessions for 10 years now so rest assured, you're in capable hands. I have tried and tested methods of encouraging baby to explore, capturing all the best memories and moving the shoot along naturally.

Getting packed for tomorrow's beach day! We've got a busy day with 8 families booked in for gorgeous relaxed, natural fun in the sand photos.

One of my favourite days of the year - the beach hut is booked, kids have packed their buckets and spades, camera is fully charged and ready to go and the sunshine is promising a beautiful day for photos.

My top tips for those who are booked in -

Be comfortable in what you wear, be yourselves - I don't do cheeses for the camera, I like natural smiles, try your best to save the water and ice-cream till after the photos (yes I can photoshop it out but...) 😉 dogs are welcome at the part of the beach we are on, bring water, and hats are great for keeping cool but not so great for photos.

The last few weeks has been super busy juggling all things year 6 parent!! 🙃 fellow school leaver mums, how are you holding up?

From the last sports day, to the last residential to this mornings last school play - teamed with the excitement of transition days and everything involved in starting a new school.. I cant wait for the holidays but equally want each day to last forever!!

I cant thank all my amazing clients enough for your patience over the last few weeks, having been fully booked this month your support has been so appreciated and for those waiting on galleries, it will be worth it and I can't thank you enough for your understanding 😘

Just to throw a spanner in the already busy works, our village has had no Internet for almost a week now either so work has been frustratingly slow to edit, upload and communicate. I'm afraid I have been a bit invisible on socials whilst trying to catch up so just thought Id pop on and say I am still here, editing my heart out, photographing your beautiful memories and if you catch me with a tear in my eye, its most definitely hay-fever and not me watching my children grow up too fast!! 🥲

☀️ **IMPORTANT UPDATE** ☀️

After chatting with Vicki this morning, we've made the difficult decision to **cancel tomorrow's Professional Pet Photo Shoot**.

With temperatures in the shop reaching **31°C**, we simply don't feel it's fair or safe to ask pets to travel or spend time in those conditions.

💜 **Our animals will always come first.** Whether they're furry, feathered or scaly, their welfare has to be our number one priority.

We know many of you were looking forward to the event, and we're so grateful for your understanding. As soon as the weather cools down, we'll arrange a new date with Vicki and let everyone know.
