β¨ Throwback to one of my very first experiments with FX makeup and conceptual photography.
No fancy studio. No professional lighting setup. Just my sister, a bedsheet, a torch, and a lot of imagination.
This series was created around different phobias, exploring how fear could be represented through photography, lighting, and FX makeup. Looking back, it was probably less about the project itself and more about finding any excuse possible to play around with special effects makeup. π
π¨ Phobias: More Than Just Fear
π§ Aquaphobia β Fear of water
π Trypanophobia β Fear of needles and injections
π€‘ Coulrophobia β Fear of clowns
π·οΈ Arachnophobia β Fear of spiders
π₯ Pyrophobia β Fear of fire
I've been revisiting some of my older work lately, and it's a reminder that creativity isn't about having the best equipmentβit's about having an idea and finding a way to bring it to life.
Looking back now, I can see all the things I'd do differently... but that's part of the journey.
Which phobia would you find hardest to face? π
