Distinctly mine ....๐
๐If you missed yesterdays post on my stories, I asked the question about my work, specifically about 'my style' and if you could identify it as mine if it didn't have my name on it. Thankyou to all who voted - Unequivocally you voted yes, you would recognize my style and that makes me truly happy ๐๐ธ
๐ธOver the years (20 plus) I have developed a style of photography that feels completely me. I never followed trends, nor did I and will not rely on presets. If I wanted to enhance the Autumn/ Christmas/Summer vibe in an image I could have bought a handful of preset packages, just click a button and it was done, in fact all the software, photoshop, lightroom etc now have built in handy presets for you to select from. However this is leaving creative expression up to the computer. Don't get me wrong presets can be a useful tool, a foundation and building block for the rest of the post processing work, but I don't want to simply process your images - I want to create them โค๏ธ
๐จI want skin to still look like skin, colours to feel natural but vibrant, I want full control over distracting and attracting, but most importantly I want my editing to become the thing you notice!
๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ปI absolutely adore meeting everyone at my shoots, our locations, the perfectly put together styling, the art which all my clients help to create, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that I love the editing process just that tiny bit more. The art that happens after the photo, the bit you don't see, and the finished product that you invest in.
