💍 WHAT A DAY AT GLENSKIRLIE! 💍

A massive thank you to Pamela and the team at Pamela Jayne’s Bridal for organising such a fantastic wedding fayre yesterday at the stunning Glenskirlie, all in aid of the incredible Strathcarron Hospice. ❤️

It was a brilliant day from start to finish — meeting some fantastic new supplier pals, catching up with plenty of familiar faces and, most importantly, getting the chance to speak to so many lovely couples about their wedding plans.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Wedding DJ Scotland stand, had a chat, asked questions, shared their ideas and, of course, jumped on the 360! 🎥🙌

And wow… the 360 was absolutely FLAT OUT yesterday! 😂

🏆 The Wedding Industry Awards 2027 – Voting is Open

Here we go… our first little push for votes!

If I had the pleasure of being part of your wedding between 1st October 2025 and 28th September 2026, I’d really appreciate you taking a few minutes to vote for Wedding DJ Scotland in this year’s Wedding Industry Awards.

I’ve been doing this for a long time, but I still genuinely love being trusted to play a part in someone’s wedding day. No two weddings are the same, and I’ve always tried to make sure every couple gets a day that feels like theirs rather than simply turning up and doing the same thing every week.

Right troops… socials have been suspiciously quiet lately 👀😂

Before anybody thinks we’ve packed it in and opened a caravan site somewhere… don’t panic 😅

Truth is, it’s been absolutely MENTAL behind the scenes. Between weddings, events, travelling up and doon the country, edits still needing finished and some clients wanting things kept a bit more private (which is absolutely fair enough ❤️) the social media side’s taken a wee back seat.

But trust me… May’s been an absolute belter 🔥

We kicked things off back at the beautiful Burgh Halls in Linlithgow — always love being in there, cracking venue and the staff are brilliant 👏

Then Saturday past we found ourselves doon in Leith Arches for Kirsten & Josh’s post-elopement party after the pair of them buggered off to the Big Apple to secretly get married 🍎✈️💍😂

Honestly… what a cracking wee venue. Proper cool, intimate, quirky and just DIFFERENT. The type of place where you instantly know it’s either gonna be dead awkward or absolute carnage…

Thankfully for us… it was carnage 😎🔥

Now here’s the mad bit…

This is about the 10TH couple fae the SAME pals group we’ve entertained over the last couple years 🤯❤️

At this point it’s less “new clients” and more like a yearly reunion wae pals you only ever see steaming on dancefloors 😂

And honestly? THAT is one of the best feelings in this job. Walking into a room seeing familiar faces, old brides & grooms, folk shouting “YASSSS NICKKKK” before you’ve even got the speakers switched on 😂👏

But as much as the catch ups are class… the mission was simple:

Launch Kirsten & Josh into married life wae an absolutely ridiculous party 💥

Mission accomplished troops 😅

Venue? Outstanding ✔️
Couple? Absolute legends ✔️
Guests? Certified nutters ✔️
Dancefloor? RAMMED all night ✔️

Best part was there wasn’t actually THAT many requests 👀 which usually means one thing…

Everybody was too busy going absolutely feral on the dancefloor 😂🔥

Honestly one of those nights where you drive home wae ringing ears, sore feet and that daft wee grin on your face because everything just CLICKED ❤️🎶
